Why Messianic.co exists
Someone searching for a Messianic congregation today usually finds old lists, dead links and sites that blur very different movements together. A Jewish seeker wondering whether a congregation is safe to visit, or a family moving to a new city, deserves better than that.
We built Messianic.co to be the place they can trust: every listing checked by a person, every congregation described honestly, and the whole directory free to use. Our first concern is to lift up Messianic Jewish congregations, where Jewish people follow Yeshua and remain Jews, alongside the Messianic congregations, ministries and Jewish roots organizations that stand with Israel and the Jewish people. If you are new to the movement, start with What is Messianic Judaism?
How the directory works
Every listing meets one published test: Yeshua as Israel’s Messiah, God’s ongoing covenant with the Jewish people, and no replacement theology. Each one is labeled Messianic Jewish, Messianic or Jewish roots so you know what to expect before you visit. The details are on our standards page.
Today the directory lists 157 congregations, plus ministries, teaching, music, books, schools, events and more. A listing is always free, including the link to the congregation’s own website. Leaders can claim their listing to keep it current.
Who runs it
Messianic.co is run by Jon Horton. Jon is actively involved in a Messianic Jewish congregation in Cary, North Carolina, and is pursuing a master’s in Jewish studies at the Messianic Jewish Theological Institute.
It is a service of NewCulture Consulting, LLC, which builds websites for congregations and ministries. That work pays for the directory, and it never decides who is listed or how a listing reads.
Independent of any network
We are not part of any denomination or association, and we do not speak for the Messianic movement. The directory lists congregations from the UMJC, the MJAA and IAMCS, Tikkun America, the AMC, Chosen People Ministries and many independent communities, side by side and under the same standard.
How you can help
The directory is only as good as what people tell us. If something is wrong, every listing has a link to suggest a correction. Questions go to hello@messianic.co.
