Caspari Center

The Caspari Center for Biblical and Jewish Studies is an Israeli organization founded in 1982 by the Norwegian Church Ministry to Israel. It supports Israel's Jewish believers in Jesus through education and research. Alec Goldberg serves as Israel Director. The center was the first to offer basic theological training in Hebrew for lay members and pastors of Messianic congregations. It is named for Carl Paul Caspari, a Jewish-born Old Testament scholar in Oslo.

Its work includes Shabbat School Seminars, online teacher training, the TELEM teaching program and an open lecture archive. It publishes Mishkan and a media review, and has surveyed Israel's Messianic fellowships. Its ten-day study tour, "Discovering Jesus in His Jewish Context," runs with Jerusalem Seminary.
