Jerusalem Perspective

Jerusalem Perspective (JP) is an online publication on the life and teachings of Jesus in his first-century Jewish context. Joshua N. Tilton is its proprietor and editor; he took ownership in 2025 from founder David N. Bivin and Brian Becker. JP began in 1987 as a newsletter, grew into a print magazine, and moved online at the end of 1999.

JP publishes articles on archaeology, Second Temple history, ancient Jewish literature and the languages of first-century Israel. Its Life of Yeshua project uses Robert Lindsey's synoptic solution and Hebrew reconstruction to study the Gospels. It describes itself as a bridge between Jews and Christians and between scholars and the public. Most content requires a paid membership.
