Ahm Yisrael Messianic Synagogue

Messianic Jewish congregation · Navarre, FL

About

Ahm Yisrael Messianic Synagogue gathers in Navarre, Florida, every Shabbat. Children's Sabbath School and a fellowship breakfast begin at 10 am, and the service follows at 11. Worship, praise, prayer and the reading of Elohim's Word fill the morning. Around 2 pm, a Foundations of Messianic Judaism class meets, open to everyone.

The congregation calls itself "a Bible believing & Torah observant community in Yeshua (Jesus)." It understands its calling as teaching and living the whole of Scripture, Tanakh and Renewed Covenant, to both Jews and non-Jews. Its teaching stresses "the restoration of all things" from Acts 3:21. Members celebrate the feasts G-d commanded and Yeshua kept, and study how the end was foretold from the beginning.

Rabbi Wayne Leland and his wife Joy moved to the Florida panhandle from North Carolina and began a home study group in 2003. Wayne was ordained as a rabbi and founded the synagogue in 2010. By 2015 the congregation had bought its own building, the first synagogue in Santa Rosa County. Ahm Yisrael is affiliated with the Messianic Jewish Alliance of America and the International Alliance of Messianic Congregations. The synagogue also has men's, women's, youth and nursery ministries and community outreach.
