Kehilat Ari Yehudah, also known as Messianic Congregation Lion of Judah, is a Messianic synagogue in Yardley, Pennsylvania. It was formed in 1995 to bring Messianic Judaism and revival to the area, midway between New York City and Philadelphia. Jewish and non-Jewish believers in Messiah Yeshua worship together, and the congregation is a member of the IAMCS.
Shabbat service begins Saturdays at 10:30 AM with the Sh'ma and V'ahavta. Worship follows with singing, instruments and Davidic dancing, and all worshipers may join the dance. Children are then dismissed for Shabbat School while the service continues with teaching from the Word. The community also gathers for the feasts, including Purim, Passover, Yom Teruah, Kol Nidre, Yom Kippur, Sukkot and Chanukah.
The congregation teaches that Yeshua broke down the m'chitzah, the middle wall of partition, between Jew and non-Jew. In its words, "Together we become the One New Man as spoken of in Ephesians 2." Both the Tanakh and the B'rit Chadashah, it holds, are equal in importance and are taught in their proper Hebraic context. Its vision is to share the good news with Jewish and non-Jewish people. Ari Yehudah also seeks to bring understanding of the Jewish roots of the faith to the greater Body of Messiah. Rabbi Peggy Michalchuk has led the congregation since October 2007.
