Erev Shabbat services are held Friday nights at 7:00 pm, and Shabbat morning services on Saturdays at 11:00 am. Twenty minutes of prayer come before each. Services are chanted in Hebrew and English. They include the shofar, prayers from the Second Temple era, song, and dancing with the Torah around the sanctuary. Rosh Chodesh is marked with a potluck meal. Classes for young children run during the service, with a nursery for newborns to age 3.
Jews and Gentiles worship together here, and many married couples are one Jewish and one Gentile spouse. The congregation teaches that both worship together while retaining "their distinct identities." Gentiles may become members, and no conversion is required. Beth Hallel teaches from Genesis through Revelation and brings the good news of Yeshua "to the Jew first and also to the Gentiles."
Rabbi David and Rebbetzin Leslye Schneier have led the congregation since November 8, 2013. They earlier led Gates of Zion Congregation in Odessa, Ukraine, from 1996 to 2007. David has served as the IAMCS representative for Europe since 2007.
