Kehilat Kol Simcha

Messianic Jewish congregation · Gainesville, FL

About

Kehilat Kol Simcha is an English-speaking Messianic Jewish congregation in Gainesville, Florida. It was established on Sukkot 1992 and has been a member of the Union of Messianic Jewish Congregations since 2014. Rabbi Tony and Rebbetzin Marilyn Arroyo lead the community, which calls itself family-centered.

Shabbat services begin Saturdays at 10 a.m. and are also livestreamed. Worship brings together Spirit-filled praise, Israeli and Davidic dance, and traditional prayers from the siddur. A snack oneg follows the service. Beyond the weekly Shabbat, Kol Simcha keeps the seven biblical festivals of Israel, along with Purim and Chanukah.

The congregation proclaims Yeshua HaMashiach as the Messiah of Israel and affirms one God as Father, Son and Ruach HaKodesh. Believers in Yeshua, it teaches, are engrafted branches onto the root of Biblical Judaism. The good news goes to the Jew first and to all people. Kol Simcha also holds that faithfulness to the Torah given at Sinai matters, describing Torah as "the basis for our salvation in Messiah." During the week, members pray together on Zoom on Mondays and in person on the second and fourth Thursdays. A Torah Club meets Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. There is also a monthly sisterhood and a men's brotherhood.
