Its members are Jews and non-Jews who seek "to live in covenant community with one another through the power of the Ruach HaKodesh." Adat Chaim holds that Yeshua is fully G-d and fully man. Salvation, it teaches, comes by the grace of G-d alone through faith in Yeshua's death on behalf of our sins. The congregation affirms that the Jewish people have an irrevocable priestly gift and calling, one that includes Jewish followers of Yeshua. It understands the return of the Jewish people to their ancient homeland as part of the fulfillment of prophecy. It looks to a time when Israel and the nations will be one under the rule of the Messiah. Scripture as originally written is held to be the inerrant word of G-d. Beth Yeshua Messianic Synagogue, CA
Sacramento, CABeth Yeshua is a Messianic Jewish community in Sacramento, California, and a member of the Union of Messianic Jewish Congregations. It describes itself as "a community of Jewish people who love and serve Yeshua, the Jewish Messiah." Jewish and intermarried families stand at its center, and the community helps them work through questions of identity and Yeshua faith. Gentiles take part when they have a call, confirmed by the leadership, to stand beside the Jewish people. That call includes sharing the good news of Yeshua with Jewish people in their lives. Beth Yeshua explicitly rejects Hebrew Roots theology, along with the replacement theology it sees in that movement. It holds that the existence of Israel is a miraculous work of God. In the congregation's view, God promised Abraham, Isaac and Jacob a real, physical land and keeps His promises. The community prays for Israel and the peace of Jerusalem, supports ministries there and recommends aliyah. Rabbi Richard Rubinstein and Shari Rubinstein founded Beth Yeshua in 1991 with the Schley family, first meeting in a home. Since 2011 their son Joshua Rubinstein has served as congregational leader. Tucker, GACongregation Beth Adonai is a Messianic Jewish congregation in Tucker, Georgia. It describes itself as honoring Jewish heritage and traditions while following Yeshua as the Messiah. Shabbat services are held Saturday mornings, with a call to worship at 11:00 and the service at 11:15. On the first Shabbat after Rosh Chodesh, the congregation holds a Torah Walk Service. The congregation holds the TaNaKh and the Brit Chadasha to be the inspired Word of God and its final authority. It teaches that Yeshua Ha Mashiach is God incarnate, born of the Jewish virgin Miriam. His death, it believes, was the atoning sacrifice for the sins of Israel and all mankind. Followers of Yeshua are urged to seek the infilling of the Holy Spirit, though this is not a prerequisite for salvation. In its teaching, Shabbat comes first among God's appointed times. Beth Adonai celebrates all the feasts as they fall on the Jewish calendar, holding that God instructed Israel to observe them forever. Shabbat observance, it teaches, is not an attempt to earn salvation but the response of the redeemed. After the service, visitors are invited to meet Rebbetzin Judy and the leadership. Everyone is also invited to stay for Oneg, a shared lunch. A nursery is available downstairs. The community asks for modest dress, with dressier attire for Rosh HaShanah and Yom Kippur. On Tuesdays, women gather for prayer at 10:00 and men at 10:30. The congregation frames its convictions after the traditional Jewish articles of faith, each one affirmed "with perfect faith." Salvation comes only through faith in him. Believers are immersed, and the Lord's Supper is kept with matzo and the fruit of the vine. Beth Sar Shalom rejects Dual Covenant theology, Replacement theology and Two-House or Ephraimite teaching. It also teaches that Israel will be the focus of a coming great trial, and that Yeshua will reign with Jerusalem as his capital. Its stated vision is to grow the Messianic Jewish community in Tucson. Torah is taught to adults and children in the light of Yeshua and the new covenant scripture. Worship includes liturgy, music and dance in an intergenerational setting. Jews and non-Jews stand equally before God in its teaching. Their roles are distinct, and each has a unique purpose in God's plan. Jewish members live culturally as Jews, observe Torah and keep Jewish homes. For this community, faith in Yeshua brings no detriment to Jewish identity. Mayim Chayim calls itself "the Jewish wing of the body of Messiah." It counts itself part of the Jewish community and a partner with the Christian church in advancing the good news. Many Jews are not comfortable in churches, the congregation notes. It seeks to prevent assimilation and preserve a Jewish remnant within the body of Messiah, citing Romans 11:4-5. A second focus is raising up future generations of Jewish believers. Because he is the Jewish Messiah, it believes in maintaining a Jewish expression of faith. Passover, Sukkot and the other biblical holy days are celebrated, along with many customs of Jewish heritage. Non-Jews, it teaches, are grafted into "the rich root of the olive tree" of this Jewish biblical heritage. Kehilat Ariel describes itself as a strong supporter of the Jewish people in Israel. It prays for the peace of Israel and the whole Middle East. Worship, or avodah, draws on Carlebach Chassidic tunes, Israeli traditional songs and modern Messianic jazz. Traditional Israeli dance is part of almost every Shabbat and holy day service, and anyone may learn and join in. The outreach band Zemer Yeshua performs concerts in the wider community. A six-week confirmation class covers Jewish history, the holy days and the philosophy of Messianic Judaism. The Mayim Hayim Resource Center offers Messianic Jewish books and a library.UMJC

Kol Simcha also holds that faithfulness to the Torah given at Sinai matters, describing Torah as "the basis for our salvation in Messiah." During the week, members pray together on Zoom on Mondays and in person on the second and fourth Thursdays. A Torah Club meets Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. There is also a monthly sisterhood and a men's brotherhood.UMJC

Rosh Pina
Owings Mills, MDRosh Pina calls itself a Messianic synagogue, a community of Jews and Gentiles who know their identity in Messiah Yeshua. Gentiles are described as "called alongside." Its vision is to foster a community of Jewish people who know their Messiah. Sabbath worship follows the order of Tabernacle worship, moving from the outer court toward the Holy of Holies. Along the way come the Barchu, the Mourners Kaddish, the Shema, Mi Chamocha and the Amidah. A Torah service with blessings for the Torah, haftarah and b'rit chadasha readings leads into a d'rash. The service closes in the Holy of Holies, a time kept as personal. The congregation affirms one God revealed as Father, Son and Holy Spirit. It holds that God's covenant with Israel is everlasting, and that Yeshua died as an atonement for Israel and the whole world. Torah is understood as God's gift to Israel and the constitution of the Messianic Jewish community. For Messianic communities from the nations, Torah does not have the same role, though it offers spiritual nourishment and practical teaching. Jewish tradition is treated as a living link to the biblical past, alongside insight drawn from the Christian theological tradition. Tanakh and Brit Hadasha are held as the final authority in faith and practice. Rosh Pina also teaches the gifts of the Spirit and the fivefold ministry of Ephesians 4.Tikkun AmericaUMJC

The Disciple Center
Anaheim Hills, CAThe DiscipleCenter calls itself "a Judeo-Christian Community of Faith." It was formed by Christians committed to the unity of Messianic Jews and Gentiles. The community draws on the traditions of both Judaism and Christianity. It holds ties to the Southern Baptist Convention and to the Messianic Movement. Part of its aim is helping denominational churches understand the calling of the Messianic Movement within the larger Jewish community. The congregation rejects the view that the Church has replaced Israel. It holds that believing Gentiles are grafted into the root and belong to the commonwealth of Israel. Jewish believers are to remain Jews, a light to the nations through their observance of Torah. Gentile disciples remain Gentiles. The two are "One" in the Messiah but not the same. Salvation, it teaches, has always been by grace through faith. Teaching of the Law and fitting obedience should continue until all is fulfilled. Worship follows a liturgy modeled on the Tabernacle and Temple, with elements of Jewish and Christian prayer. Members lead the readings, prayers and songs. Before the sermon, the Torah scroll and a Gospel codex are carried from the Ark across the sanctuary. Children go to their own classes during the teaching. The community describes itself as private and does not publish its address. Visitors contact the congregation first and are paired with a member host.Jewish rootsUMJC
Tikvat David
Roswell, GATikvat David is a Messianic Jewish synagogue in Roswell, Georgia, and a member of the Union of Messianic Jewish Congregations. The name means "hope of David" in Hebrew. The community believes that hope is found in Yeshua, Messiah and King of Israel. Its stated vision is "a Yeshua-centered Judaism for Israel and the Nations." Jews here live out their covenant calling as Jews, with Yeshua at the center of their Torah observance. Gentiles who wish to practice Judaism are valued as a distinct, equal and essential part of Messianic Judaism. The community seeks to grow in observing the Torah according to traditional Jewish norms. Tikvat Israel
Richmond, VATikvat Israel is a Messianic synagogue in the center of Richmond, Virginia. Shabbat services are held on Saturdays at 10am. Founded more than 30 years ago, the community belongs to the Union of Messianic Jewish Congregations and Tikkun America. It describes itself as a place where Jewish people and their family and friends can experience a Jewish service and community. All of this rests on the belief that Yeshua is the Messiah of Israel. The congregation understands Messianic Judaism as "that branch of Judaism which claims that Yeshua is the Messiah of Israel." Messianic Jews, it teaches, follow Yeshua's example by continuing to live as faithful Jews. It affirms that Yeshua is worthy of worship and brings Jewish life to its fullness. Yeshua is central here, and the New Testament holds a prominent place. Gentile followers of Yeshua come alongside Messianic Jews in a shared mission. That mission is to build a congregation for Yeshua within the Richmond Jewish community. The synagogue building was constructed in 1914 for a Baptist congregation. From the 1940s through the 1970s it was home to an Orthodox synagogue. Tikvat Israel bought it in 1990 under Rabbi Jamie Cowen. Comstock Park, MIAdat Eytz Chayim is a Messianic Jewish congregation in Comstock Park, Michigan. It gathers each Saturday for a Shabbat service from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
