Temple Aron Hakodesh

Temple Aron HaKodesh is a Messianic synagogue in South Florida. It describes itself as "a New Covenant community of Jews and non-Jews called to be one in the Messiah, Yeshua." Its vision is to share in the spiritual restoration of the Jewish people. It also aims to provide a strong Messianic Jewish heritage for generations to come. It teaches that God is restoring Jewish people to the Land of Israel and to Himself, as Ezekiel 36 and Jeremiah 31 foretold.

The congregation gathers for Shabbat services, where preaching and teaching of God's Word take a high priority. Every Shabbat, children's ministries run alongside the regular service, and care is available for infants. Rabbi Francisco Moros, the associate rabbi, teaches a weekly Shabbat Torah class. He also leads a monthly Spanish service. A seniors' ministry and congregational prayer watches round out the community's life.

Rabbi Joseph Vitkus has served as senior rabbi since 2010, following the retirement of founding rabbi Dr. Neil Lash. He first came to Temple Aron HaKodesh in 1994 as youth rabbi. Rebbetzin Ilene Vitkus has served alongside him for more than twenty-five years. Every two years, Rabbi Joe leads a tour to Israel, with a missions trip in the years between.
