Tree of Life Messianic Congregation is a fellowship of Jewish and non-Jewish believers in Yeshua, gathering in Katy, Texas. The Saturday morning service begins at 10:30 am, in person and online. On Sunday evenings at 7:00 pm, the community meets online for Torah and Bible study.
Worship blends traditional Jewish liturgy with contemporary Messianic music and Davidic dance, along with in-depth Biblical teaching. Passover, Shavuot, Rosh Hashana, Yom Kippur and Sukkot are among the appointed times the congregation observes. The community compares itself to first-century believers who worshiped God "in a Jewish fashion" while believing Yeshua was the Suffering Servant of Isaiah 53.
The Tenach and the B'rit Hadasha together are held as the infallible and authoritative word of God. Reading the Shema, the congregation teaches that God is Echad, a composite unity existing in three persons. Yeshua is affirmed as God, born of a virgin, and the promised Mashiach of Israel. Salvation, in its teaching, comes by grace through faith in the atonement Messiah made. Tree of Life also believes the gifts of the Spirit in 1 Corinthians 12 remain active, including speaking in tongues. Its members pray for the sick and believe God hears those prayers for healing.
A Hebrew School, an adult Torah Club, a Children's Shabbat School and Bar/Bat Mitzvah preparation for students aged 8 to 12 are announced as coming soon.
