Beit Tefilah Messianic Congregation
St. Louis, MO
Beit Tefilah Messianic Congregation gathers every Shabbat in Creve Coeur, in the St. Louis area. Jewish and non-Jewish believers worship together here. They hold that the promised Messiah of Israel was revealed in Yeshua of Nazareth, and they describe their practice as Biblical Judaism. Services begin around 11:30 a.m. on Saturday with a Torah Service, followed by worship through music and song and Torah study. An oneg follows, a shared afternoon meal eaten while the community studies the week's Torah portion, Haftarah and Brit Chadasha readings. Visitors will find a bimah, an ark holding a Torah scroll, kippot and a mezuzah on the door. Nursery care is offered for children under 6. The congregation acknowledges Rabbinic halakhah but follows Apostolic halakhah. In practice it keeps some Rabbinic traditions while studying the New Testament instead of the Talmud. It teaches that Jewish believers in Yeshua remain Jewish. Gentiles who trust in Yeshua are understood as grafted into the olive tree, becoming spiritual sons and daughters of Abraham. The Jewish Holy Days are observed, with their fulfillment in Messiah. Beit Tefilah affirms that salvation has always been by faith. It also holds to the physical and spiritual restoration of Israel and supports the State of Israel. Part of its vision is helping the church understand its Jewish roots.

Children of Jacob Messianic Synagogue
Springfield, MO
Children of Jacob Messianic Synagogue is a Messianic congregation in Springfield, Missouri. Its purpose is to bless any Jewish person, anywhere in the world, in any way possible. The community aims to be a safe haven where Jewish people can learn about their Messiah. Gentile believers are offered a place to discover the roots of their faith. At the center of its teaching is a Biblical love for Israel and an understanding of what the congregation calls "our debt to Israel." It confesses Jesus/Y'shua as the Messiah and King of the Jews, the one true hope of Jacob's children. The rabbi emeritus is Messianic Rabbi Jeff Friedman, who serves alongside his wife, Vixie. They began working among Jewish people in 1989. For 16 years they nurtured a Messianic Jewish congregation they planted in Philadelphia. In 2009 the Friedmans expanded their work to Jewish communities worldwide. Since then they have offered humanitarian and medical aid in Germany, Poland, Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, Ethiopia, Turkey and Israel. Children of Jacob also operates as an international ministry to Jewish people around the world.

The Tabernacle in Branson
Branson, MO
The Tabernacle describes itself as the Messianic Synagogue in Branson, Missouri, and the oldest Messianic Jewish congregation in the Ozarks. It has served the Branson area since 2002. Every Shabbat the community gathers on Saturday at 11:00 for Davidic praise, worship and fellowship. Services are also streamed online on YouTube and Facebook. The ministry names two primary goals. One is to bring Jewish people to faith in Yeshua the Messiah. The other is to teach the wider Body of Messiah about the Jewish foundations of the faith. Rabbi Daniel Sitkins serves as the congregation's Messianic Rabbi and Spiritual Leader. He joined the community in January 2019 and is an ordained rabbi. He holds a master's degree from Missouri State University and is pursuing a Doctorate of Ministry. Senior Rabbi Jeremy Storch founded The Tabernacle in 2000, after his ordination as a Messianic Rabbi in 1986. Of Jewish descent, he is a cantor, composer and recording artist who specializes in Davidic praise and worship. Both rabbis are members of the Messianic Jewish Alliance of America and the International Alliance of Messianic Congregations and Synagogues. A men's ministry is also part of congregational life.
